Happy Holiday?

Our Holiday is off to a good start. Neither of us has to work on Good Friday. Hooray. A day off is a good day. We are loosely planning a family gathering for Easter Sunday. Shopping tomorrow for the feast. And last minute shopping for the perfect treat for our granddaughter. She wants a pink flashlight and a real mouse. One out of two should do it. Today at her day school she had an egg hunt, an Easter party and had her spring picture taken. What a day. Can't wait to see the picture. On Saturday I will be putting the lillies in the church sanctuary. This is a tradition in our church. The lillies are white and are used as memorials or in honor of loved ones. THen I plan to go to my favorite and only neice's house to see what I can do to contribute to their landscaping plans. Sunday may include church. We haven't been in so long, I wonder if the building will still be standing.

Not a bad moment

I was not a bad moment when I offered to keep "the girl" for the week while her mom got some things together that was not going well without assistance. It was not a bad moment when "the Firl" made sand and water pie in the front yeard today. It was not a bad moment when She was so happy to see her pawpaw when he came back from the sotre. It was not abad moment when she said, rock me, I want to go to sleep. and in a short time it was not a bad moment when she took that deep sigh before drifting off to sweet sleep that she needed so much.
