where does the time go?
OK, maybe I am taking in too much caffeine in the evening. I do drink green tea for supper and with my night meds. I don't want to think this is too much caffeine. I don't want to not drink it.I like it, it is refreshing. I could drink water and am going to have to try it to see if it makes a difference. I see my clock way too often during the night. Now last night or this morning in particular at 3am, the girl had an itchy spot that needed attention. That brought attention to other itchy spots, then to her dreams, then to something she was laughing at....oh no, don't really wake up.... go back to sleep baby, lay down, baby. Thank you lord, she did lay down and go back to real sleep, So did we after a fashion. Then in an instant it was time for the alarm to go off. I swear I had just closed my eyes and now they are open again. I am not getting enough REM sleep, or something. I should have had 2 good hours of comfy snoozing. I don't feel like I did. I just feel awake enough to look at the net and mail etc. WHy does the clock speed up when you are sleeping. What evil mastermind has done this to me/us? It can't just be that my son is ill and is going through a counter-adjustment period, my 5 year old grand daughter who lives with us is precocious and requires quite a bit of interaction time, my spouse and I are getting older, me faster than him evidently, and both have jobs to attend to, we are still waiting to finish remodeling our kitchen, we need to have a major garage sale and are collecting items for that with no real place to put the items until the day of the sale, we just got over several days of no power thanks to downed trees from Hurricane Gustav,,, let's see, is that all?
