catching up

The girl's mother must not remember that she is supposed to only have her during supervised visitation at her parents home. It seems that she had to leave her mother's home yesterday because the girl was getting on other mawmaw's nerves. She says the girl was screaming about not getting to spend time with her mother by herself. That seems odd, I hope I can get more info on this. She took her to Julie's parents' condo. She called me and told me about it today. I did not tell her she had made a mistake. I will tell her Sunday that the rule is visitation with supervision. Maybe this is the time to tell her the rumors are out about her using again. She has been pointing the finger at the girl's father lately, which is something she does when she is at fault.

Speaking of the girls' father, he has a new girl friend. Of course, the girl;s mother doesn't think it is a good idea for him to be with this woman. She always says that. She called her up and started telling her about how he is with women etc and she told her that the only thing they would need to discuss would be anything that involved the two of them and the girl. Good for her. No argument, just the facts. and putting the girl first. Smart woman. She got my vote.

The girl's father has been in remission for some time, with a scare in November. He goes back to the Oncologist Jan 6 for a routine check up. Hopefully it will be all clear again. He broke his hand in an accident and then really messed it up in a fall in the shower. He had tried to keep the break from us because he had been in the accident on Christmas Eve and he didn't want us to know about the details and mess up our Christmas. He has avoided surgery, but will have a cast on for a while.
